The Experience

Before You Go

Stay in the jeep

Tuskers can be unpredictable—remain seated unless your guide instructs otherwise for safety.

Go early or late

Wildlife is most active at dawn and dusk; schedule your safari to coincide with these windows for better sightings.

Bring water and sun protection

Shade is sparse in open plains—carry at least 1–2 L of water per person and a wide-brim hat.

Use binoculars and a telephoto lens

Good optics help you observe elephants and birds without approaching, preserving safety and animal behavior.
