The Experience

Before You Go

Choose Your Campsite Wisely

Confirm your tent location ahead and ensure it's on permitted private or public land to avoid surprises at check-in.

Layer Up for Variable Temperatures

Idaho’s nights can be chilly, so bring layers to stay warm after sunset, even in summer.

Stay Hydrated

Carry sufficient water for your planned location—some remote spots may lack accessible water sources.

Secure Your Site

Ensure tents and belongings are anchored securely to handle unexpected wind or weather shifts common in open terrain.
